There's so much history in Shenley, so this makes for a delightful village walk.
This walk is particularly perfect for families with younger children. If you park free at the car park to the The Café in the Orchard, and stop over for breakie or lunch, there is a playground to delight the human children, whilst the furry ones are allowed in the outdoor section nearby haha!
There are then plenty of orchard walks by the café or you could visit the nearby park for picnic or some park games and or explore the village.
