The nearby former quarry has been transformed into a wildlife haven, with diverse habitats ranging from heathland to woodland and wildflower meadows. The reserve is a fantastic spot for birdwatching, and you might catch sight of buzzards, kestrels, or even a kingfisher along the riverside. The paths through the reserve are well-marked and vary from gentle strolls to more energetic hikes, making it a great addition to your Chapmore End walk.
