Navigating this route doesn't really require a map, as it's clearly marked, particularly the more accessible paths. With your back to Fuoco's Pizza facing the bridge, simply turn left and proceed along the canal.
Starting from any location, you'll find an abundance of food stops in both Ware and Hertford. If you prefer not to walk back, you can conveniently take the train.
But honestly, the route is not steep, so felt straightforward to wander around. My choice is to always have Pep on a lead, since she is a more reactive dog, and doesn't like to be approached.
